Oregano is a perennial herb that can grow in hardiness zones 4–10. However, most oregano plants are sensitive to frost and freezes and may not survive the winter without some protection.
 
Oregano is best known for tomato-based sauces but is also perfect for use with vegetables and meat stuffings. Pinch back to encourage bushy growth. Water occasionally. Pick leaves anytime for fresh use.
