The White Bleeding Heart (Alba) variety has nodding delicate flowers that are white heart-shaped and will bloom from late spring to early summer. The leaves are ferny shaped and compound, with a grayish green color. Bleeding heart plants grow best in light shade, but can tolerate full sun in cool, moist climates.
